Intense 3D 100 Question

by Anse » Sat, 15 Nov 1997 04:00:00

I just got my intense 3d card by Intergraph and worried about the loud
snapping sound during resolution change.  The newer driver available from
their web creates this horizontal green bar right below the mid section of
monitor so I decided to stick with the one that came with the box
(diskette).
What can I do with the snapping sound?   This occurs when I open the MTM
and Nascar 2 games.  Will this harm my monitor?  What about the refresh
rate?  I could only set mine to 60hz for 70hz starts to make a vibration
look in the monitor?
Any input will be appreciated, thank you in advance.

Don't worry, It's normal assuming the sound is coming from your monitor.

Yeah, that's a known problem with the beta drivers.

The highest refresh rate you can use is limited to what the monitor
AND video board are capable of at the various screen resolutions.
