Does this bug the s#$t out of anyone else?

Why, why, why?

With damage, this racer would easily be great... as it stands, IMO, it's
good, but lacking.

Now, you just have a bunch of mobile guardrails..

A shame! First I thought it was because I was in Arcade mode, then in
Gran Turismo mode... no change. A dark spot on the fine game,
certainly. It's so much fun just blasting the engine, jumping from a
bridge, at times. :)

That may be true, but then I'd rather have a game full of ficticious cars that
*can* be damaged!

Don't get me wrong - GT3 is still a *whole* buncha fun....

That's the PR reason, there's also the fact that the developers took that
excuse to be lazy and not implement any kind of damage modelling.

Lazy  - or it wasn't in the budget.

Too bad, it's fairly good otherwise...
