This is ridiculous!
I have been using a rear-view mirror style which gets rid of all the
rollcage and bracing paraphernalia, giving a clear, unobstructed view out
the back.
This is an essential modification for slow people like me who desperately
need to keep a watchful eye on the rapidly approaching cars as I'm being
lapped for the ump***th time.

BUT.......
I just reconfigured my Driver information after setting up new competitors
and when I went into my (new) vehicle, the conventional mirror appeared and
no matter what I try I can't get my plain old sheet of glass back! :(

Please, does anyone have any idea as to (a) how I did it in the first place
and (b) how I get it now (the mirror, that is!)

Bruce.

You have tried the standard M and N key toggle right?

If you could see the level of embarrassment at which I am currently sitting
then I'm sure you'd feel sorry for me.
There are some days when it's best not to even get out of bed, let me tell
you!

Thanks, Dan - it was the 'N' key which I'd obviously forgotten was even on
my keyboard. :)

Bruce (hangs head in shame!)

Never argue with an idiot.  He brings you down to his level, then beats you
with experience...

The player.ini file stores most/all of these variables, so you can
always go there to tweak something if you forgot the hotkey
for it.  I recently discovered that driver view #16 lets you drive
from the helicopter view!
