In Gp2, after retiring from a race, or even if I just wanted to watch one, I
could press a button and the computer would control the cameras
concentrating on the action. This was the Director View

Is there such a feature in F1RS?
If so how do I use it?

Yea, it's not quite as, uh, variable as the director view.
When you start a race, hitting F3 goes to an external view.
Page up and page down will move you from car to car. So the
camera is on one car. GP2's director's view would go from car
to car, and give different views, like in car, with no
intervention from the viewer.

I don't recall GP2's switching from car to car automatically. Seems like
F1RS's works similarly. F3 gives you outside camera views, F2 gives you the 3
standard views, F4 gives you many virtual 3D views of the car, page up/down
lets you switch cars (as you mentioned) where you can then use F2,F3,F4 to
your heart's content.

It went to cars that did something notable like lock-up, spin-off, crash
or have a failure.
