While racing in nascar i hit the wall and my engine was damaged, all the
thing says is to hit esc, well i did that, now what? Is there a way to
accelerate time to finish the race?

Another post says press ALT-A. It's actually just the 'a' key. You should
then see a "confirmation window", asking whether you really want to
accelerate the race.

Just hit the "a" key to go to accelerate menu.
