Interesting News About F1RC

From Redline at High Gear forum:

"Hi guys. Just got some new details about F1RC. I'm doing a small review
quite soon, but for now, here's some new highlights.
The demo and the 'preview' are not the finished thing. The French developers
are still working on the game and both the demo and preview are only some
75% finished.

They are still working on the physics, AI, some track modeling and some work
on the controls.

I think split axis will make it into the final version but can't confirm it
yet.

The physics engines for F1RC is brand new and is NOT that found in Pro Rally
or any other game. It has been written from the ground up for this game.

quote:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----
"ALL game physics, animations, graphics and sounds are 100% new"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----

The final version will include 8 modes including, driving school, challenge,
and training.

There is also a 'Scenario' mode.

quote:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----
"The scenario mode allows players to not only relive past victories or
mistakes but to re-run the moment. Was that crash your fault? Could you have
done something to avoid it? You can now find out with this scenario mode"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----

Anyone else think this sounds like a career mode??
Fully dynamic weather including FOG, Rain, Sun etc...

Full car setup options with over 10 screens of information inc tyre
pressure, temp etc. Also F1RC allows players to re-use worn tyres during a
race

Dynamic replays which allows the user to select the size of replays.

Right. I hope to have a much later build of the game very soon. This will be
pretty close to the final version and not the months old preview and demo
that's out now.

Soon as I have more news, i'll past it on."
