I run GP2 on a Cyrix P150+ with 32mb EDO, Matrox MGA, ASUS Motherboard
with Triton2 Chipset. About 20 fps in SVGA with 80% of all details on.
No sky, no detail in mirrors.

hmmm...looks like its little slower than p166. I have an identical
system exept I have p166 instead of your Cyrix and I can run most
tracks with full details(exept sky) and get over 20 fps...of course
not monaco and hockenheim and monza because of those trees.

A P150 is slower not only in processor speed but also in bus speed. You
lose about 10% speed on the bus 60 vs 66 so that also is a factor. I run
a Cyrix P166 and my results are about like yours.

Well I have a Cyrix 166+ 32EDO, MGA 2Mb Triton 2 Motherboard and can
run the game at 15fps with all detail including mirrors.   I have seen
at Pentium 200 with similar specification only able to run the game at
exactly the same speed with a P133 running the game at 9 fps so your
166 must be faster than it should be according to these figures
