NHRA 3dfx support (or lack thereof)

by Todd Walke » Sat, 04 Apr 1998 04:00:00

The last time that I talked to Trevor about NHRA racing he said that the
only planned support for 3d cards was for the Riva (I think) and there were
NO plans to support 3dfx. I wonder if this has changed or if Tantrum is
still planning on not supporting about half of the 3d market. I am looking
forward to seeing NHRA but if there is no 3dfx support, they won't get a
penny from me.

Trevor, any info???

If it works on the RIVA, it must be Direct 3D accelerated.  Therefore, it
will look just fine and dandy on a 3dfx card.

Remember I have been wondering what could possibly be ***ed up with
the NHRA game? Well this could be it. In fact I wouldn't go near it with a
10 foot pole without 3dfx support. And Trav, if this is true I'm gonna dog
ya :-)
