Motocross madness + gamepad

Having control problems in Motocross madness. I'm using a gamepad and
every so often the bike will fail to turn for a split second, enough
to cause me to go off track. Raced someone online and he complained of
this as well, he was also using a gamepad. I tried three pads (phazer,
gravis and sidewinder) all have this problem. I also have a
Thrustmaster ACM gamecard. Any ideas or is this a known
problem/bug/feature? TIA

I'm using a GRAVIS XTERMINATOR and I have the same problem trying to turn but it
almost seems exclusive to turning and accelerating at the same time.  The
problem seems to go away if I let off the gas before turning.

Its all about timing - sometimes i let off & sometimes i gun it in the
corners - the main thing is too line up straight for the jump -  sometime
when you land after a big jump you bounce & your front wheel comes off the
ground - giving   it gas & turning  when this happens will cause you to wax
hard or send you off line :) i am using a keyboard - same as my gravis
gamepad - maybe i need to program my analog F22 PRO ! Punching the gas
after a jump also causes the tires to spin a little bit  ---------------

The music in my game won't play?  Whats the deal.  Awesome game though!  Nice
setup/instruction booklet Microsoft sent with the game.  They should be
ashamed!  I guess they'll make one in a month and ask $19.95 for it.  Rich get
richer.......

I've tried many different things to try to help this problem, but no go. I
thought it was my system or something but quess not. Sure hope someone
(microsoft) can fix it!
