Will MBTR run on this configuration?

AthlonXP 1800+.
512MB RAM
GeForce 3 Ti500
Windows XP
Logitech Momo

I seem to remember some graphics problems with GeForce cards, but that was a
long time ago...

Now that I've found a place to buy it in the US, I want to make sure it
works first :)

TIA

Unless it was a brag-post about your PC, I don't see any reason why it
wouldn't work <G> :)

Last i checked, they said it will work on the GF cards...with some OLD
drivers. We're talking like 6.xx versions. I would check their website first
to see if there's anything new for it.

Dunno about WinXP or Momo, but MBTR definitely works with my GF2 Pro.  It
didn't work when I installed it, but the latest patch for the game fixed
that.

Never intended it to be.  I just remember a lot of problems with the Demo
and certain configurations, especially nVidia cards, and wanted to make sure
I wasn't wasting my money :)

BTW... I left out the good stuff :)

Ah, yes.  This is what worries me :)  Thanks!

But then again, maybe going back to OLD nVidia drivers isn't such a bad
thing.  These DetXP drivers are not impressing me stability wise...

Hi Larry,

I have it running on

AthlonXP 1800+.
512MB RAM
GeForce 3 Ti500
Windows 2000
Logitech FF (the old cable-driven model)

using the 23.10 drivers. Works great.

Same system, except I'm running XP and have the Momo Wheel.

Thanks!

I can't seem to get it to work with split axis.  When I tried it before, I
didn't quite understand what's going on.  I'd hit the accelerator, and the
tires would just spin.  A couple of days ago, I re-loaded it and tried again.
I figured out what's happening.  It has the brake axis reversed.  I have to
press the brake pedal to RELEASE the brakes.  If I let it up, it applies the
brakes...HARD.  Thus, the lockup.  Any ideas?  The controller config screen
doesn't let me choose the 'direction' of pedal travel, just select an axis(Rz-
axis).  Strange, because the demo worked FINE with my TSW2 split-axis.  It kind
of pisses me off that the retail version DOESN'T work... :(
