The problem is that noone has ever done a decent control system for a bike
sim. It doesn't matter how pretty it looks if it feels wrong then it just
won't work.

By control system I think Andrew meant controller.
I have the same problem, I don't like handheld gamepads.
For race car sims, it's OK as the wheel works fine.
But nobody has come up with a solid bike bars, throttle and brakes.
And trying to come up with a home controller ca[able of allowing the rider
to counter-steer will always be a 'challenge'.

I preferred GP500 over SBK on the PC.
Not raced much bike sims since then, but I'm a die-hard TT fan, so you can
guess my next one :)

Sega seemed to have it down pretty well when Hang On and Super Hang On
were out in the arcades.  I don't think the problem is creating a good
motorcycle peripheral (as it has been done many many times over the
years)  but rather that it's not economically feasible.  I can't
imagine there would be a market for it.

Exactly, along side my FQ300 sits a shiny ZX9R and you don't steer it, you
lean it. We need, as has already been mentioned in this thread, an arcade
styule sit upon bike to lean with.
