Found this PC version on the shelf today and scooped it up.
Not putting this on Ebay!
I'll be taking offers on it until Sunday midnight MST - highest bidder gets
it. :-)
I already have F1C and don't need another copy.

So if you're not putting it on Ebay then why are you telling us you're
taking offers until Sunday?

What better place to sell other than in this NG of racing enthusiasts?
I probably stand to make more $ putting it on ebay, so being cheap is the
least of my concerns.
I had one offer, but it was for less than what I paid.
Theres a good opportunity here, and no one is taking it. I'm very surprised.
I'm learning that "hard to find" does not necessarily equate to "in demand."

If you were doing this to be nice, you would mention what you paid for it or
just mention a price you want to sell it for.

None of this "secret" email me with bid stuff

So either you are trying to be nice, in which case you should just mention
what you want to sell it for and let others decide if they want it

Or you do not have an Ebay account and are trying to use this as a way of
making some money

Which is it?

Hehehe...it's true.  He's avoiding eBay...who knows why?

I can't believe the prices some folks are bidding for this...it's ludicrous.

Maybe because people have more sense than to post money to a complete
stranger who uses Usenet inappropriately.

There is a reason people use Ebay.

Andrew...
Pardon me for flaming you, but I post here quite regularly, so even if you
don't know about the mole I have on my left ***cheek, does that mean that
I am a "complete" stranger.
Also, I feel your signature implies that you demand of others, and it is for
that reason that I am top posting exclusively for you.
There are ppl who do use usenet for selling ie: ***.forsale, ***for.sale,
but I prefer to use this newsgroup with this item as I feel it is
appropriate.
Oh, and speak for yourself. Your paranoid delusions and "natural" PR
abilities are going to gain you nothing but big costs in the end.
Go to ebay Andy boy...and spend your hard earned $$...because with EBay, you
can NEVER get ripped off.
***.

I don't care how regularly post here, when it comes to real life, very
few people if any people in this newsgroup know you.

Show yourself to be a selfish idiot, thats your choice.

Its not.

Reading peoples feedback scores has meant I haven't been ripped off.

How do you figure it was more than what I paid?
You offer 20 US,  I admitted paying 20 CDN, factor in conversion and you
have 15US I paid.
But wait there's shipping into the US...gotta be at least 4.00 CDN for that
roughly 3.00 US.
Now were up to 18 US. Now I gotta drive to the post office...my gas on your
generous offer? Don't make me ***ing laugh.
Tally up another 2 for that...and we're breaking even.

I found it. You didn't. I'm entitled to getting more because of that.
I'm not providing my services for free, I'm sorry.
You might as well go find it yourself....on EBay where you'll pay a helluva
lot more than what I did.

This whole group has been trying to***down my throat ever since I offered
this.
I know its jealousy.
And you all have too much pride...and it pisses you all off that I have this
little gem.
Well, I got the prize...and as we all know, second place is for losers.
hardy-har....har!

What do you think is a good price to ask on ebay?
I hear if you send them post dated checks in the amount of your selling fee,
you can sell without credit card numbers.
40US 50US?

Let me know....and thanks >:-)

lol, what a piece of work.  If you want more than you paid for it, go to
eBay, and take advantage of those ridiculous prices being paid for it.  In
the time you've spent here making an idiot of yourself, it would have been
sold already there.

Hey dork, tell me why its wrong to ask for more than what I paid?
In case your simple brain has forgotten, this sim is out of print and its
popular.
There are mods available for it. I'd even go so far as to say that it has
appreciated in value somewhat within the "rec.auto.simulators" circle.
You would charge more if you were in my position and don't tell me
otherwise, unless you're into charity work.
So in the future, before you go spewing off your ramblings, think before you
hit the send key.
Oh and...my deadline was Sunday midnight MST...not sure what the sky color
is in your world but hopefully they teach you how to read and observe.
