I was just wondering if anyone had had reliabilty problems during a race
or at any time for that matter. I've been playing the game since it came
out and I am yet to have any. Have i just been lucky. Or will i have
them all when i'm coming out of the final corner at adelaide and stop me
winning the championship?

I've seen the other cars have engine blow outs and other terminal
reliability problems but none happen to me

Hi!!

Well i have really got more than enogh of reliability problems in gp2.I
have started on a championship season and have been driving four races. My
engine has gone 3 times after ca 50 laps at 3 of the races.I drive a
Ferrari so it looks like they have got that part of the sim right:-) And i
the 4th race my brakes left so it defently works.

Hello!

I've had some problems too, in Monza I had stuck throttle while =

screaming into Curva De Vialone about 320 kph (200 mph). I was happy it =

was just a game. I went out into the wall about 300 kph, it sure hurts!

In Canada my engine started smoking badly some 500 meters before pit =

lane entry, I entered pits and my crew fixed the engine. Voil=E1, back to =

racing !

Yup, you have been lucky :)

I've had oil leaks, transmission probs and at least one engine
blow-up, oh well, that's what I get for choosing a McClaren I suppose
:)

Make sure you have those options turned on.  I had a water leak problem
at Interlagos and the engine went up in smoke coming up the hill after
the start/finish and the left and right to turn ?3? ?4?

From the Main Menu, go to Drive Menu->Drive Options->Car Realism and make sure
that all of the breakdown options are marked.  If they already are marked and
you haven't had a breakdown yet, then you've got a reliable car...so far.  :-)

You`ve been real lucky.  I had a brake failure at Monza.  Screaming
down towards Curva della Roggia at 200mph with no way to stop make
syou glad it is only a sim <VBG>
