i don;t know if they have something like this already but wouldn't it be cool
if they start including analog dials/displays on pc steering wheels?  one's
that'll show the speed, and maybe one for revs.  a digital led display
would also work, but an analog diplay would be so much cooler.  this probably
won't be compatible with current games but say someone like logitech needs to
get together with say someone like EA and bring do this.  what with wheels now
all using USB it wouldn't be that difficult?

Using the flight simulator X-Plane - you can output data (various parameters
etc) thru a serial port

It would take a bit of a techno-geekey electronics person (not me) to figure
how to use this to drive an LCD Display that could be mounted in a wheel
etc.

I believe it wouldnt be too difficult to have the same in WSC (old interview
I remember)

Perhaps it's something BRD (www.interactiveracing.com) should look into

cancelled the lines of the stuff I'd have been really interested in.

   I think the West brothers should set aside whatever  
task their currently working on and and put all their
efforts into the interface for this right now.
