Can anyone help me figure out a solution to the problem with modem play I am
having, I have a US Robotics Courier 28.8 internal modem and I can't dial out.
It will not even atempt to dail. I've tried all the modems on the list
provided in the software with no luck. I would be grateful for any help anyone
can provide.

If you play Doom][ , Try the same string you use with it. That's what
got me playing. I only have a 12000 or i'd send you my modem.cfg
