Although I love this game to bits I am a bit bothered by the speed I
can go through La Source at. In the dry I have managed over 190mph at
the bottom of the hill which is about 20mph over the odds. This with a
two hour old setup too.

It's a hell of a ride though.

Also, you can take a good twenty yards of grass at the bustop without
causing a black flag saving a good few seconds on a qualifier.

Never thought I would play a sim and be hoping for wet races though
:-)))

That's Eau Rouge not La Source. La Source is the hairpin at the top of the
hill.

190mph! That's not bad for a 180 degree hairpin! That's downforce for
you.

Gary I think you mean Eau Rouge, La Source is the Hairpin before it.

I hope you mean Eau Rouge. If you can get through La Source at 180
Ferrari and Mclaren will be knocking at your door ;-)

And to go from 190 mph one way, to 190 mph the other way (taking 2 seconds
to do it) you pull 8.5 G, 'bout time F1 drivers invested in a G-suit

You guys sure you aren't running with too much wing?  Maybe you'll get
better laptimes with less downforce, which might mean lifting in Eau Rouge.
I don't have the game yet, so I don't know- just wondering.  As I recall, in
GP2 I could only take it flat out with quite a bit of wing.

Whoops. I was so e***d I even got the name wrong. Managed 193mph
tonight but then tried it behind an AI car and the loss of downforce
put me in the barrier;-(
