Interesting, I never had this with F1RS+V1/2, but now with MGPR2 (RS2 in
Germany)
and V2 SLI I have exactly the same problem. It's not on every track and
not
in every corner, but it's quite distracting...

Well, I'm 100% sure it's the sim, as every other game/sim just flies on
my
P2-333 + V2 SLI!

We had some patches for F1RS, so why not for RS2 (the name in
Germany)... ;^)

Don't really have an answer for you, but...

I'd noticed this same type of behavior at the Loew's hairpin at
Monaco.  IMO not enough to really be a pain, or cause difficulties in
controlling the car, but to make me say "hmm, wish that was a little
smoother."

But, FWIW, I just for the first time tried the MGPRS (a.k.a. F1RS2)
demo last night, and the Loew's hairpin seems to be a *little*
visually smoother.  Don't know if this is a function of improvements
in the sim, or because I had installed DirectX 6 (which I'm still not
sure if that's required to run the demo or not...some say yes, others
say no), or what.  Hadn't changed any other system variables, really.

If you're not running DX6, I would not recommend that you "upgrade" to
it just to try and improve this, unless you're really desparate.  You
may wind up causing a lot more problems than what you'd be trying to
fix.

My system is:
PII 300 (Dell Dimension XPS D300)
64MB RAM
Turtle Beach Montego soundcard
Orchid R3D-II 12MB card
Matrox Millennium II AGP videocard
CH GameCard3 dedicated gamecard
TSW wheel/pedals on dual brake/throttle axis
Win95 with DirectX 6 (dx6eng.exe)
