Help ThrustMaster Pro Wheel

Hey...
I have just brougt a ThrustMaster Pro Racing wheel, and I
can't get it to work.When I turn the wheel all to the left,
the wheel on the Car turn right. I tried to calibate it,
but it will not work and I tried to Reinstall, new drivers.
but no luck. Is it broken or what?
Hope some can help me.....'

Which game are you playing?  Generally though, some games require you to
turn the wheel either to the left or to the right when selecting it as
the steering device.   If you don't turn it in the correct direction it
then reverses the steering when you go to the track.

  If there is a thrustmapper utility with your wheel, you can set the wheel
axis to respond the other way by checking the 'reverse axis' box.  It should
be on the screen that shows the wheel and pedals.

I do not have that function in my utility. It may seem like a Hardware
error, so i might return it, but if have any ideas please help me, I'am
really lost.

Soren...

You'll need to provide us a lot more information if you expect any
assistance.  What "sim" are you running....exactly what TM wheel do you
have...is it new or used......what are your "specs" for the computer and its
operating system.........etc.

I'am using Windows 98,on Pentium II 266.
it dosn't work when i tried to Calibate
        Control panel-> Games Options -> Settings -> Calibate
It is very new wheel.
