Hi,

Is there a site where I can find F3 replays? (or times)
Before moving to F1 (and F2), I'd like to master these 'gokarts' first,
and I need some sort of reference to where I'm standing right now.

Hi,
I am not aware of any fast lap sites for F3 cars, but no doubt somone
will have some info for you on that, but i have listed here my best
times for all the tracks, using the F3 cars.
It might give you some idea of what are reasonable times.

Kyalami   1:37.90
Mexico     2:09.82
Monaco   1:43.13
Monza     1:52.09
Mosport   1:38.19
Nurburg   10:04.14
Rouen      2:24.55
Silver       1:48.06
Spa         4:09.68
Watkins   1:19.71
Zandy      1:41.39

Those were taken from my best laps table in GPL....
I hope that helps you out a bit.
Cheers,
Ron

Mark,

First of all let me state that I was just busting on Mike,  The King of the
F3 race hosts <G>

Secondly...  I havent run that many laps in the F3 but It annoys the heck out
of me when I punch it and the RPM limiter kicks in.  ROFL   Im use to hearing
that baby scream ;)

Sure Scott.
It takes some getting used to. There are better sounds out there to make
these things sound a bit more exiting. Mail me if you want me to send you
something. The whole thing about F3 racing is that there is much less
reliance on machinery to go fast.

It takes a very smooth driving style to go fast in one of these babies and
the envelope performance is much narrower. You will not be able to use the
engine as a steering device in a F3 car. If you forget about ultimate
straight line speed (these things are all relative anyway), the racing
becomes much more exiting when running with the faster F3 guys. Barlow and
myself were running at Monaco last night for a number of laps within inches
of each other before i hit the bales at the chicane :- (. I dare any F1
racers to go through Eau Rouge together side by side at full racing speed
and hold it together :-)

Regards

Mark

F3 is a lot harder than F1.   You should try it, it's a blast.

Okay, maybe I should start out with F1 and work my way up to F3. ;)

It would be nice if you didn't post here in html.  The nettiquette is
to use plain text - its Microsoft Outlook expresses that defaults
itself to html

You may think that sounds funny, but what I think is you need to hop
into a race with Jake or Chris Anderson in F3 cars. I can see the
tears flowing now...... B-b-b-b-b-u-t its a TRAINER!! Why am I getting
my ASS kicked?????

Neither the F1, F2, of F3s are "easy", give F3 racing a shot, I
believe you will see my logic.. Its VERY different. GPL has a LOT of
hidden virtues, and F3 racing is one of them!
