My appologies for those who raced on the track that I was taking my evening
spin.  Can't remember who hosted, but the track was Kalami.  The start was
just as bad as everone here has stated it would be!  And if you make it
through that, you still have to contend with turn 1.  You know, After making
it out of a start alive (only one little bump) you have used so much mental
energy, that you just space the braking markers for turn one!

While practicing, I only Shift-R'ed once.  And, got taught a lesson in
Shift-R'ing. Sorry to whoever pegged me from behind (you were driving a
Ferrari).  I had just got tangled with someone else and was damaged. I hit
Shift-R about halfway down the front-straight. I returned to the sound of a
howling Ferrari! WHAM!

A Question!

I have seen it twice, but can't get it.  What is PRC?

Hi Thad,

PRC stands for Pro Racing Club.  We are just group of clean drivers and may not
always be racing on PRO mode in GPL.
If you see the comment "A PRC Server" in the VROC open rooms, it's just a
regular open race -- don't expect miricles ;-)  Once we have enough PRC drivers
we would move to a passworded race.

I'm holding 2 recruiting races this Thursday Mar 4 starting at 10pm EST on VROC
open room 2.  Be there if you can :-)  I will be checking for latency and how
you handle traffic.  Be sure to tell me, during practice, that you would like to
'try-out' so I can get your email address and stuff.

I think that explains PRC and how to join, but what is "can't get it"?  Does
that mean you cannot join the race -- "can't get in"?
You might have connection problems to the host.

Jason.

Thanks for the info!  That is exactly what I wanted to know.  What I ment by
say, that, "I wasn't getting it", is simply I wasn't understanding.  I
couldn't figure out what it stood for.  I figured, by how it was used, it
had something to do with clean drivers.  Thanks again...

As for the recurting races...  Thanks for the invite to 'try-out', but right
now,  I am my own worse enemy!  Maybe at some later date.
