N3: Qualifying warmup laps

N3: Qualifying warmup laps

Are the number of qualifying warmpup laps correct in N3?  It seems to me
that there should be a minimum of an out lap and a warmup lap prior to
getting the green in qualifying.  I'm not a big NASCAR fan so I have no
idea what the real qualifying rules are.

This has probably been gone over a million times already, but I've tried
to ignorge all of the "this sucks/that sucks" posts about N3 so I may have
missed it.

The game reflects actual track qualifying, but note that on tracks (I believe)
greater than 1 mile but less than 2 miles you get one lap, smaller than 1 mile

full song, anyway).

Hope this helps...

Makes sense as far as the actual "flying" laps go.  However, my question
was actually on the number of warmup laps during qualifying.  On some
tracks you have:

Out Lap - Warmup Lap - Green Flag

On others you only have:

Out Lap - Green Flag

Does N3, in fact, reflect the actual procedure at each track?

Have to specify which tracks Bill. I have never seen a warm-up lap on any N3
track. I've always had the out lap and then one or two qualifying laps.

not true ...

in some tracks you have :

Out Lap - Green Flag - Green Flag

On others you only have:

Out Lap - Green Flag

so, you where using a green flag lap as a warmup lap :)
