Ok, I reinstalled it.  At this point, I'm lapping the field at 80% ai, 100%
car, 99 laps.  Time to move the ai up a notch.  Do I still suck?

Well - try 100% AI and 15 laps and see if you can lap them - as for the speed
feel deal try running closer to the fence down the straights at "Nocks Hill"
also make sure you have "cockpit jitter" turned on.  When you master that get
on the net and race for a BUNCHA fun.  Gotta watch out for the idiots tho -
there's a few out there.

Don't worry with that, some people will flame you anyways when it comes
to their beloved game. DTR does have it's merrits. Great online fun.
Some people think they're the king of the track when you read their
stuff: "If you can't feel that you better go back to arcades 'n
shooters."

Really hate that. As soon as you disagree with someone, it's assumed you
don't know anything about the subject, or you don't know how to race.
How about the fun factor? If you don't win some races, doesn't mean I'm
not enjoying yourself. And that "Dude" thing has to stop ;)

Well...I'm going to make a REVELATION of a quote...

DTR is alright.

It's not ground braking, it's not new. It's reasonable fun, looks OK,
and has some fun elements...

Before you ask...TOCA 2 is my fav Racing sim/game at the moment, it's
got accesable realism. GPL is superb - but isn't FUN enought to keep my
head engaged...

Just a point before I duck the flames...

It's sad that at the moment, there isn't a good contemporary F1-sim
vailable. GP2's old (Still good, but old), Official F1 is an arcade
game, as are the MGPRS pair.

Doug (ducking the BIG flaming that I know I'm going to get - but frankly
- it's sad that i can expect it...)

Not liking the graphics of MGPR2 is ok, but to compare it with OF1 and
calling it arcade IS, well, stupid...
