I have a very similar system (3200+ with a 9600XT card and 1.5GB mem)
and that you have to disable AGP write in ATI's catalyst control center.
You'll have to switch to advanced view in the control center and then
under SMARTGART there is a checkbox for AGP Write. Failing that, you
might want to check out the forums at www.racesimcentral.com since there
seems to be a wealth of knowledge there too
