HELP - Nascar2 setup won't run :-(((

Hi

I can not get the Nascar2 setup to run on my machine.

It installs and passes all the checks Sound, Graphics etc. but when
the setup program runs to set the sound all I get is is message

"unable to begin  VGA graphics mode"

type "n2" to run NASCAR racing 2

When I run the program the video runs at the start with sound, but
when the game starts no sound :-(((

I have loads of other games and programs on my computer (Indycar 2,
Grand Prix 2 even nascar 1) all run with no problem.

Anybody any ideas???

System - P133, 32 Mb ram, 2Mb IGS 1682 PCI graphic,
soundblaster 16 PnP soundcard.

P.S.
Have tried clean boot etc. From Dos & win 95.

Are you running in DOS mode or Windows95?
I have a SoundBlaster 16 sound card and found that in DOS mode I must
have the following line in my Autoexec.bat file in order to get sound in
Nascar2

C:\VIBRA16\DIAGNOSE /S

(my sound card files are located in the C:\VIBRA16 directory.  Yours may
be elsewhere)

OK. thanks for the reply's. The problem was that the setup program did
not recognise my IGS Graphics card!!! so setup would not run.

I've now installed a basic 2Mb GrafixStar card and everything works
fine now.
