And then Intel passes those costs right back to the consumer,
plus a little bit extra just to keep the shareholders happy.

Even if overclocking reduces the life expectancy of a CPU in
half, from say 5 years to 2.5 years, the current generation of CPUs are
going to be as obsolete in two years as 386s are today.
