one problem....the floor in the computer room is carpeted, and the pedals
unit slides a lot.....any suggestions?

TIA,

I place something behind it that will keep if from moving.  A large book
is good, just make sure you don't block the movement of the pedals.

Bob,

Rather then using books, I measured the distance from the back of my
pedals (TSW2) to the wall, then cut a piece of 3/4 inch plywood that length
and as wide as the unit.

But then perfectly good book pedal-backstops are going to waste sitting
on your bookshelf.  :)

Get one of those clear-plastic carpet protector mats.  You know, the one's
that rip a chuck of meat out of your leg if you carry them wrong...

Remove a few screws from the bottom of the pedal assembly, place the pedal
assy carefully in the position you need it, and mark/drill holes for the
screws.  Since the plastic is clear, it's easy to see where to mark for the
holes.

Put the pedals in place, reinstall the screws through the plastic mat into
the wheel.  It is possible you may have to use longer screws than the
factory one's, but I didn't have to.

Voila!  Non-moveable pedals!
