Hi,
I have been away from this newsgroup for a long time, but I have now
returned!, I have a big problem with gp3 how in the world do we connect
through TCP/IP, I have tried everything and I keep getting the same problem.
When I connect hosting a game a big screen comes up with a sort of chat
screen and some other things. (This looks normal!) But when i am joining a
game it says the game could not be found? the same is happening for the
buddy I wish to play with. How do we fix this. How do we connect PLEASE
HELP!!!!!

Thanks
Marco

I have no knowledge of gp3.  But...I have heard it's multiplayer is no
better than the original World Circuit from the 80's.  So if that is
true...you are just wasting your time.  One question tho.  Have you patched
GP3 with the official upgrade?

Well, just finished playing a couple of hours of GP3 multiplayer. Not
too  bad, but just difficult to set it up how you want to.

First point - Have you got a working TCP/IP LAN between the two pc's?

If so, then just go multiplayer, then host on one computer and hit
connnect. The 2nd is set to join (obviously) and it should say "gp3
network session" if with default settings. Both games should be
patched to 1.13

You CANNOT play it over the internet though, that's the problem. LAN
only.

lol, the best you can do in the situation. Not a hell of a lot of
modern F1 multiplayer around, is there?

There is a full field of AI cars too, just to really annoy the hell
out of you. It's not really a serious race that you can have in GP3
anyway, just a bit of fun.
