accessing 95 cars on NASCAR

I downloaded the iwcccrs.zip file and the 95cars.zip file when I loaded
NASCAR ver. 1.2.

How do I access the files and get the cars loaded?

There should be either a readme.txt or readme.1st file in there.  Open it
up with the DOS editor and it'll tell you exactly what to do.  Actually,
if I remember right, you just make a directory under c:\nascar called
newcars or iwcc or anything you want.  Then you move the zip file to that
directory and unzip it.  Should be able to access it under the main menu
in the game.  Go to options/opponents or something like that and you'll
see "car sets".  Open that up and it will show you whatever car sets you
have loaded.  Choose the one you want to use.  Don't quote me on this,
but I think that's right.  Anyway, the readme file tells you how to do
it.

Actually,  the file must be unzipped into a new directory under c:\nascar\cars
that has the same name as the .dat file that came with the car set [ie.
cars95.dat,  or whatever the name of the set is]  The name of the subdirectory
MUST match the name of this file in order for the game to load [ie. c:\nascar\
cars\cars95,  in this case]  Then,  by going into the DRIVER INFO option
from the main menu,  choose CAR SETS,  and load up the set.  That oughta'
do it.  If the names don't match,  you aint' gonna race...
