I often wondered why EA didn't produce a nascar game "based on the ISI
engine from the acclaimed F1 Challenge series" before this.
But it sure sounds encouraging! I like the fact that its not being aimed at
the mass market as well, since they seem to targeting a different crowd.
Sounds like EA is finally starting to take their nascar sim serious. We will
have to see.......

Sounds to me like it's just about over for N2003. ISI's new game engine
(rFactor) is taking over sim racing.

I'll wait until someone I know (and respect) has tried it before I buy
it...

Not that I'm saying I don't respect the original poster (wanted to clear
that up before one of the reading comprehension impaired decided this
was a slam on anyone but EA).

"the game is to feature an all new physics engine, based on the ISI engine
from the acclaimed F1 Challenge series"

I really didn't want to hear that.  Hopefully the Papy folks taught them how
to do it right.

Hopefully the words "All New" and "Based On" are as incorrect as the
statement itself.

"Throughout the presentation, the recurring theme was that this is not a
mass market title. This game was aimed directly at the sim racing and online
racing community from the very beginning"

The news just got better :)

If what we get is better, I agree.  If it's not, I don't.  We'll see :)

The rFactor demo is already better and it's not even showing all it's
powers. :-o
