Wrong Wrong Wrong he said Nascar 99 by sierra not EA sports to different
games. One is a revamped N2 for PC and the other is a Arcade Racer that
tries to be a sim for console *** systems. Nascar 98 by EA was the
funniest and stupidest racing I've seen except for maybe Daytona USA. I was
able to do 172 mph laptimes at Bristol in EA's Nascar 98 lol.

Actually it was a Quiproquo here...

Nascar 99 is made by EA Sports. It's an arcade-based game, available for the
PC, PSX and N64

Nascar Racing 99 is made by SierraSports/Papyrus Design Group. It's a
simulation that is somehow Nascar Racing 2 but up to this year, with update
to tracks, cars, etc... with also new Craftmans Truck physics and
double-file restarts. It's Win95 based I would guess with probably a better
3dfx version of it.

So they were right and wrong at the same time ;-D

You're ALL wrong...Since we're splitting hairs, the name of the firm is
Papyrus - more specifically Papyrus Design Group, Inc.  ;)

Cheers!

Sorry but I haven't been paying attention.  What happened to Nascar 3?
Has it been canceled?  Delayed?  Or replaced with a warmed over update
to Nascar 2 (aka Nascar 99)?

NASCAR 3 is now NASCAR 2000- NASCAR 2 1999 is N2 with the BGN pack, plus
some new Craftsman truck stuff- and a few more things. If you'd like, I can
hunt up the press release and send it to you- send me an e-mail if you'd
like it.

N3 or N2000 has been pushed back till the spring as the last press release
reported.

N99 is a stand alone product that includes the Craftsman Truck Series and
all the tracks that go with it.  Also, the BGN series is included as well as
the Winston Cup Series and all of it's updated tracks...aka Darlington,
Atlanta...etc.  The press release reports that double file restarts will
also be included along with several over features like 3DFX support and
windows executables.
