Formula Logitec Not Responding In Nascar2

I have a Logitech Formula (No FF) and it works fine in GPL, but I can't get
it to work in Nascar 2 or ICR2. I have visited Papy's site and installed the
patch which is supposed to cure it, but to no avail. If I run the Windows
executable and go to calibrate, the needles are bouncing around and won't
respond. I've also tried setting up a profile in the wingman software but
this won't work. If I run the DOS executable my steering works fine but the
pedals are not recognized.  Any feedback would be appreciated.

combine the axis, N2 doesn't support split axis (I could be thinking of N99
tho')

I have the yellow Logitech wheel and it works with N3.  Try plugging into
the game port instead of the USB.

If you are using a Formula force, it will not work properly as there is no
true Dos support for this wheel. For DOS support one must get the standard
Logitech wheel that plugs into the game port.
