G'Day Guy's
For the last month or so, since Dave Noonan's great converter i have been
racing on and off on oval tracks,Totally ***y awesome, talk about
powersliding, this type of racing has it's own brand of skill and
subleties,if you want to jump into a high powered machine and really learn
to reach the limit of grip well these are the tracks to do it.IMHO i think
if Papy released GPL 2 with a mixture of road and oval tracks, easier
interface they would have an instant winner for the simple reason that the
newbie to sim racing would access an oval to start with,to get the feel of
the car and to be racing instantly!!! which has been the major turn off for
newbie's or people who just want to drive fast, they have had to spend a lot
of time learning a track and the car, well some would say so what!! i had to
but most people today have'nt the time or patience. Please Dave Noonan,in
that large list of tracks i'm sure people have asked for can you add some
more ovals.

They're planning on doing just that, and calling it Nascar 4 ;)

Cheers,

What about the interface don't you like?  I think it's the best I've run
across.  Very simple and straight forward.  Only 4 clicks away from the main
screen to the track.  There are so many games that make you fight to get
going (NFS, TOCA2, SCGT) that I find GPL's simplicity refreshing.

Give me a break, 2 road courses is not a mixture...give me CART Racing 2 and
I'll call that a mixture of course types.
