Hi!
This surely is a laptime caused by warping during an online-race. I think that the owners of GPLRank must think about whether they should accept further online-driven laps or not. Schubi was right that he didn't.
Hey, I could have sent in a 0:00.25 at Monza ;))! (Who's faster, eh?)
Regards
Crash
Thanks,

What we do is look for oddities. Times that are way faster than
anything else that person has done. But we can't be positive if a times
a warp or not. GPLRank is based on the honor system, we rely on the
integrity and intelligence of the participants. People need to inspect
their Best Laps page before uploading their player.ini and ask
themselves if they believe everything is ok. If a time was done in
Training Mode, then it's rock solid. If it's done in OFFLINE race or
practice, it's rock solid. If it's done in ONLINE race or practice,
then clock smashes are a possibility, and you have to take a serious
look at a new PB. Compare it to your previous best, and ask yourself if
you believe it. Could you go into training mode and repeat it? If you
decide you don't believe it, then delete the line from your player.ini
before uploading to GPLRank.
I've said this before, and I'll say it again. What the online gpl
community needs is a way to keep clock smashed times from ever coming
into exsistence. A host based(?) app that would detect the time gap
that creates smashed times, and keep the lap time for that lap from
being registered in the game. Does anyone know if this is possible ?
