I got the Trial Version yesterday, and after running it all day long, I got
a couple of comments.
1 - The physics modeling seems pretty good. I wonder if REAL CART cars can
raise RPM so quick. But cornering is just perfect, feels like a go-cart.
2 - What kind of machine do MS and TR want us to have? I've benn reading
guys with 233 Pentium II's complaining they can't turn on full detail in
order to have 20+ fps. I myself got a 166 Pentium, 48 Mb RAM, 9 Gb HD,
Screamin' 3D video. With full detail on, 10 fps; almost everything out, 20
fps. Who's to blame?
3 - The track and the cars' rear end are TOO DARK. It is almost impossible
to avoid a crash when you're gaining on them so quick (unreal,IMHO) and all
of a sudden you notice you got a car stuck in your nose.
I hope MS listen to us.
