I have a AMD 486/100 with 16MGs ram. The game would not work.
I then added 16 more mgs of ram, nada.. still would not work (crashs when I
view a replay, or try to drive)
I also tried install the game into several other computers....
AMD 486/120 16MGs ram - Crashed when "Drive" was selected
AMD 586/133 32MGs ram - Crashed when you get into the***pit
P75 40MGs ram - Ran Just fine
P133 16MGs ram - Ran great!
Cyrix p150+ 32MGs ram - Crashed
Intel 486/50 16MGS ram - locked up sometimes.. but too slow to play in hi-res
Packard bell P120 - 16mgs ram - Crashed, but what do ya expect from a PB? :)
I'm gonna d/l a copy at school and see if I it will work on the i486/66
tomorrow
Maybe Intel paid seirra/papyrus alot of money to do this? Ya know "Intel, the
offical machine of the Nascar Racing League" :| I just can not believe the
game will work on a non-P machine, and that disgusts me. I can't believe they
would release anything that would REQUIRE a Pentium and nothing else. I
really hope that this is some sort of "bug" and will not be carried over to
the final release. Only time will tell....
