Another N2003 road circuit is here:

http://www.racesimcentral.net/

Look for Queensland Raceway, a real-world track in Australia, flat as a
pancake (sort of an Oz Albi), and 1.9 miles around.  I believe the track
record is held by a Superkart.  Currently gearing up for a big V8 Supercars
meet on my birthday (July 18-200.  More RW info here:

The N2003 version of this track should be perfect for future class mods,
like the ones Wildfire are working on (Craftsman Trucks now; later,
presumably, authentic Aussie V8s).

It's also wide enough for 3-wide racing, so it oughtta be popular online.

There is no learning curve: you can see deep into every turn you're
approaching.

Enjoy!

That's July 18-20, not 18-200 (looks like a Dewey Decimal date system,
dunnit?).

Also, the sightlines are AMAZING!  Not only can you see deep into the corner
ahead of you, the site itself is so flat that you can keep track of all the
other cars on track just by looking around.  With the rez cranked up to
1600x1200, say, you can read the numbers on cars half a lap ahead (or
behind).

For those that are interested, this is another carlos_b (the creator for
Bathurst for NR2003) track.

His collection is supporting the Aussie online driving community with their
pursuit of running a full V8 series using the Nascar 2003 engine.

Unfortunately - and this is NOT slagging off at Carlos' work - this circuit
is not a patch on the Lakeside track, for many years THE centre of
motor-racing in Queensland.
http://www.lakesideraceway.com/history.htm

Some wonderful racing was to experienced on this circuit, including the
Tasman Series in the 1960's - 1970's,
This new circuit, like Eastern Creek near Sydney (another
"Government-backed" circuit when it was constructed), has as much charm and
charisma as a bowl of cold spaghetti.

A shame - but there you go. It's hard to defeat "progress".

Bruce.
