You're probably right ... I find myself going quicker with a 2.5" setup than
with the 1.5" -2" setup that I had before. Though, I still see no reason why I
would want to go any higher ... which was my original point. With GPL 1.1
everyone will be a "low-rider". ie I'm guessing that most people will not go
any higher than 2.5" and hence they are riding as low as possible. I actually
like the fact with GPL 1.0 that my setups were "taller" than other peoples. I
don't think that there will be very many taller setups with 1.1. OK, I know
Alison made some fine tall setups for Ferrari but I would still say that she
would make them a little bit lower if she wanted to find the right combination
of "stability" and speed instead of just stability.
Again, I don't have a problem with setting up "tall" cars ... it's just that
GPL 1.1 has cut off a lot of options with seting up the height ... I don't
think that I should be told (by the game) that I "cannot" have a low car . It
should punish me by making it really bad handling but not limit me this way.
