RM Gran Canaria SSS=1:14:22 - is that good?

by Thore Sorense » Fri, 19 May 2000 04:00:00

Last night I did 1:14:22 at the Gr.Can. SSS in Rally Masters...!
I think it was great, but is it? I was bouncing around in the Peugeot
205 using the keyboard as controller (A=forward, Z=breaks, leftALT=
handbreak and automatic gearbox).
Later on I tried several times, but could not get under 1:16...:-(

Hi Thore,

I know it's hard to believe but there are times out there in the
1.07's but they are, shall we say, a little *wild*, basically using
the barriers to get around the bends.

Go to this excellent site to see the current records and even
better you can download the replays and see how it's done :
http://www.rallymastersonline.get-2.com/

Check out the World Records page to see the fasters times
for all tracks. I wouldn't be too disappionted with you 1.14 if
you are missing the barriers/walls particularly using the keyboard.

Thore,

Not sure if you are still following this thread, if so
the fastest GC time is now 1.06.62, again v.rough

I posted this thread to the High Gear Rallymasters
forum and have had quite a thread going, also now 2
post of CLEAN times a 1.10 and even a 1.09, very
clean and very impressive.

If you want to check them out, take a  look at
www.simracingnews.com, Forums->Rallymasters.

Cheers.
