If you want it to run in VGA, only 2 cd-roms. However, if you want SVGA.....That
will ship on 6 cd-roms!!!!! depending on how much detail you want turned on, and
whether or not you'll be running on a 350mhz Pentium with a terrabyte video card.
I have a 486/80 with 1mb video, so I'll be getting the single floppy version!!!!

I don't own the original GP, so I'm wondering how the starts are
handled in it and the new game. Is there a formation lap, or do
you just start in place. Another question , what kind of car do
you drive, i.e. do you pick one of the existing teams' designs,
or do you have your own car?

In the orignal F1GP:-
You can chouse which car to drive, and you can rename all the drivers and teams.
You can even select 2 or more cars, and switch between then during the race (so if you want to
be the entire Williams team, you can) The game is bassed arround the 1991 season.

Patches and editors are avilable (to edit the car and helmet colours, change car performance
etc) at:-

(Read the FAQ)
If you look arround from this site, there's a demo (for F1GP -NOT-, I repeat -NOT- GP2)
somewhere.

There is no formation lap, but I have seen a rumour that formation laps may be in GP2

Well its taking so long I would say its more like 10 disks ??
