Drivers:

One of the great features of FASTLAP 97 even if you dont
use it for FASTLAPPING is it will go through your entire
NASCAR 2 directory and check all your SETUPS and
make sure they are LEGAL. If you have any ILLEGAL
SETUPS it will let you know. Based on many drivers input
to us it appears that a very very large number of SETUPS
downloaded from the NET are illegal and they find this
to be a very handy tool...

Fastlap told me that 2 of my Darlington setups have Tire pessures of 65,
which they don't.

Those that have non-standard rear camber, front air dam, or stagger
settings.

This is true.  I took a Martinsville setup and copied it to my Pocono
directory and didn't know anything was wrong with it, UNTIL fastlap said

Er... I meant to say stagger, but I guess the tracks could have different
rear camber settings as well.  I've never looked into this though.

How does one change the front air dam? Raceset2 ise flagging me for a setting
of 350 instead of the "said" legal value of 400!?!?!?!?!?

How did you get that setup?  Did you make it yourself for that track in the
garage, or is you download it or try one from a different track?  BTW,
what's raceset2?

After the patches, the setups are "legalized" upon loading into the
game, so having an illegal setup on your disk doesn't translate into
having an illegal setup in the game.

Before the patches, air dam and stagger were legalized on load.

BTW, 350 is really 3.50
450 is really 4.50  and so on.

I knew this was going to cause confusion.  The file encodes these values
as integers instead of floating point numbers.

Actually, this would make sense if the NASCAR mandated front air dam
height were different between Martinsville and Pocono.
