i cannot change any of the realism options, # of opponents or change
their difficulty level. all the boxes are blank and i cannot type in
anyting.
any ideas whats wrong?

You can't change the settings once you have started a race weekend (gone
to practice). To change the settings, select another track to race at,
then reselect your original track. Before going in to practice, change the
settings to the way you want them.

The easiest way to handle this is just to change the settings when you
first load up ICR2, before going in to any track.
