>Has anyone tried Indycar for Macintosh?
I have it. I enjoy it. Very good simulation.
It doesn`t. It is Powermac Only. 16MB RAM required. 45MB harddisc required
(1.0.0 can not do a small install, 1.0.1 will correct this). Keyboard with
function keys required.
You need an up-to-date Mac to get decent framerates. I have it on my
6100/80 w/L2 and high rez is a no-no (even with all textures off). At
least a 120MHz 604 is needed to _really_ enjoy it. I am stuck at low rez
(with some textures on). Comparison: I can run Marathon 2 at high rez
fluently.
Framerates in ICR2 are even a bit slower. Al Unser gives me excellent
framerates on low-rez and acceptable on high-rez (all textures on). But
then, Al Unser gets boring after a while ...
Is not planned for Mac. Maybe if we all send mails to papyrus?
What about F1GP2 for Mac ????? !!!!!!
