The SRC pedals look terrific, but how would you like that wheel with
force feedback?  Or how about the ECCI, Thomas or Ball Racing wheels
with force feedback?  High quality, precision instruments that are able
to communicate every little bit of info in GPL.  Now that's what I
want.  If you do to, write your friendly wheel manufacturer and inquire
about force feedback today!

And most of them don't have the knowledge or experience in that area of
hardware development to implement it [i.e. circuit and cpu design, driver
writing, digital devices, etc.].  They would need to say buy the technology
off of say Microsoft or Logitech, etc and piggyback them which may not
necessarily be a bad way to go.

Pedals to die for.........

BOTH sets of pedals look great -- when will one of these companies (or TSW
or ECCI) get smart and market a set of pedals that can be used with a myriad
of Force Feedback controllers?  They already have the design in-hand; all
they need to do is figure out how to interface with the various brands of
wheels and develop the necessary interface adapters or patch cables.

If you build it, they will come, methinks.

Anybody paying attention?

Nigel Nichols has his pedal assembly available for purchase.
http://www.wave.co.nz/pages/lakewood/Prices.htm I've never tried them out,
but they look like a quality item. Everytime I've posted to this group for
user info on them my posts have gone unanswered, so I can't give you a clue
as to how well they work. How about it Redline users? There's a lot of
curious sim racers here that would appreciate any comments that you may
have. And Nigel, if you're listening, how about putting a few units out to
the reviewers so the rest of us can get an impartial and informative review
of your product? I for one am in the market for a new wheel, but am hesitant
to part with a large sum of cash without getting a little unbiased
information about my purchase first. But man, those pedals do look sweet...
See ya in the pits,
Dean

I have a terrible memory. In fact my memory's so bad I can't remember how
long it's been since I've forgotten anything.

I'm looking for a set of pedals to go with my home made wheel, and you
have just about convinced me, one Q though, do the pedals he ship look
as good as the ones on his home page ?

I'm a sucker for good craftsmanship :-)

Thanx for the review Paul! very informative.

you feel the Force, there's no going back....  :O)    >

Call me crazy, but I disabled the FF in legends. I bought a Logitech wheel
as soon as 1.1 came out, but after trying heaps of different settings, find
I'm going quicker without FF. I went back to my T2 pedals with the LWFF, and
am thinking about rebuilding the T2 wheel so I can use the stick shifter
again. Anyone want a Cheap LWFF ;-) . By the way, by far the best
wheel/pedals I've used are the Hyperstimulator (same solid brake pedal that
the RRC seems to have), but they are hellish expensive even in Oz where they
are made .
                                            Cheers..

I have had the offer to have my units reviewed by the
IRLInsider.
Think maybe I need to take him up on the offer.
