I've just installed Indycar racing 2. After installing the DOS 2 Win patch,
the games causes an erro while loading. Just before the introducing sequence
those messages are displayed :" Can't load garage stamps rol" then "The
compressed bitmap system could not be initialized" an finally "the core game
environment could not be initialized". After those messages, the intro is
played then the game ends and the desktop appears.

I'm using Tbird 1.33 under Win ME with a GeForce 2Mx and a SB Live Value.

try running the game outside of Windows, in a Real Mode Dos.  i think that's
what its called.  Don't boot into the Windows GUI.  it's worth a shot if
nothing else.
