I was wondering if anyone could post a troubleshooting type FAQ for adding
cars to NASCAR 2. I'm having a hell of a time getting the cars recognized in
NAS2. I run the self-extracting IWCCCARS car file and it dumps it to the
correct directory, but it generally does not show up in NASCAR2.

I came up with a way to get around this by creating a new car through the Car
Info screen, exit NASCAR2, manually copy the XXXXX.car to the CARS directory,
telling it to overwrite the file I just created. Jump into NASCAR2 and there
it is....

The problem is that this technique no longer works.

I did a full install of NASCAR2 in the default directory
I have roughly 65-70 cars in the CARS directory

I would really appreciate it if you could post it in R.A.S., my e-mail is
currently not functioning(changing ISP).

There is a small faq for importing .pcx and .car files on my web site.  You
did the default install for what Windows or Dos ?  They each have their own
default directory.  Dos just goes to C:\nascar2; Windows goes to
C:\sierra\nascar2 .  This could be part of you problem because most sites
distribute self extracting files setup for the windows install.
