GP3 Sucks! What a Piece of Shit

GP3 is unbelievably disappointing.

It isn't worth the plastic, paper, and ink used to make it.

The worst offense is the physics, which are pure 1996.

I won't go into all the things I hate about GP3, the list would be pages
long.

In summary, it will be deleted from my hard drive. Despite significant
shortcomings, F1 2000 is an exponentially better modern F1 sim.

It's kind of hard to believe but EA actually has a "best of class" sim.

sim.

How about sharing at least *some* of your concerns about this title
with us... because last time I checked software wasn't made of paper,
ink and plastic and F1 2000 was utterly & unplayable crap...

I agree. The #1 main reason I was hesitant to get F1 2000 is
because of the crappy NASCAR Revolution. I bought the game
and returned it within the hour. I thought all EA racing sims
would be the same. But I was wrong. F1 2000 is the way
better than I originally imagined.

I just tested it: I totally agree.
Its a disgrace.

Halsbro just made a deal with Mr Crammond to use his name to sell a slightly
improved version of GP2.
They used the same UNefficient graphics engine.

I pity all of you who ordered it.

Agree... slight edge over F1 2k. IMO, of course.

Right after you played it just a little more ...?
If you're serious about your rants, shouldn't that
be "it has been deleted from my hard drive"?
LOL. How pathetic!

Hmmmm.

"Its a disgrace."

God I'm heartbroken for you Karl......I'm sure it totally ruined your day.

Gee...fancy wasting all that time downloading a pirate copy of this piece of
trash when you  could of spent your time doing something far more
interesting and rewarding instead....like picking the fluff out of your
belly button.

"I pity all of you who ordered it."

You do.?

Well thank you very much for your heartfelt concern bonny lad.

I'm sure I'll be thinking of you when I plonk my hard earned cash down on
the counter on Friday.

I hope you enjoyed your free lunch even if it did turn out to upset your
stomach.

Ian.

Jan, pathetic is the way you are going to feel after you thow your money
away buying GP3, even though you have been warned about how bad it is.

Stupidity cannot be cured.

I love EA Sports.  I love the games they make, and i have quite a
number of them.  I was deadset on getting f1 2000.  Then i read every
review on here.  It really does sound like a shithouse game.  Cars
crashing on the warm up laps etc.  all the bugs.  The only reason its
got better is third party patches etc.  GP3 wont have the amount of
basic flaws that f12000 had.

I respect your opinion

I have both

I helped with some vrl files to make F1 2000 better (on release 90% of
the AI could not get around Brazil Spa and France) and have played the
game alot, I believe it's a solid base to imrove upon.

But

GP3 is better the dynamic weather is amazing the feel of the car is
superb.  The telemetary is ace, the AI is good.

It ain't perfect but it's the best modern F1 sim there is

F1 2001 if they add some features could be better though

Regards Mike

No, pathetic would be to buy the game even though you have
been "warned" and _then_ come back here and still complain.
E.g "I couldn't believe it would be so bad so I went and bought
it, but boy you were right, it's even worse ...".

_That_ is stupidity that can't be cured. But since it can't be
cured, rest assured some _will_ come back and complain. :-)

That said, I think GP3 is a good game, just like GP2 was.
I was just hoping for some more improvements.

You may want to know that on the day F1 2000 was released there were
countless "F1 2000 sucks!" posts on newsgroups and forums everywhere.  If
those people were so wrong why can't you be?
Give GP3 a few hours play and it really improves.
