The N4 .ini files-anyone fiddled with them?

I have been toying with the ones at several
tracks, tho mainly Dega and Daytona where
I have been trying to optimize the AI for no
plates (without much luck-they still enter the
turns too hot but come out too slow no matter
what I do-the deceleration curve is identical to what
it is >with< restrictor plates-just 20 MPH faster).
Some odds and ends-the AI pits several
laps before you do at those tracks, so tweak
fuel consumption down a few percentage
points (along with tire wear)...pushing AI grip
wayy up has the odd effect of causing them to
spin out half the time...if you loathe pit speed
limits then set it to 250 MPH... ;-)
Outside of the obvious stuff in the track
files, what do all those parameters do in the
general AI.ini file itself?  And the one in the
track files ("line") which says "dangerous
hack-only for experienced professionals-
doesn't seem to do a thing.
