have any of you using rendition in win95 tried to alt-tab out of the
game and get a beep from your pc speaker? that's what happens to me,
but I can alt-tab out when I start N2 without rendition. what gives?

In order for the video card to do it's 3d thing in DOS, it must be
directly controlled by the software. Therefore Win95 has to give up
its control of the video. Since Win95 can't control the video output,
you can't Alt-Tab back to Win95.
