Aaas far as specs go, you want to buy the biggest you can afford, that supports the highest
resolutions and combinations of refresh rates. As an example, a more expensive model might support
only supoprt up to 75Hz at that same resolution and color depth. Also important but is not really
represented by any specs(you must see it to be able to verify it) is how good is the geometry at the
higher resolutions(is everything straight, or can it be adjusted to be straight and true), usually
done by using a grid test pattern, and of course vibrance and accuracy of color, brightness and
contrast are also very important factors to consider when purchasing a monitor.
