What's this I hear about Nascar4 being
released in Europe? I hope it's true
as it will save me from forking out
$20 to get it shipped.

Great news,

Last I heard, N4 was being released ONLY in North America and Germany.
Is that Euro enough for you?

> Great news,

Indeed, and I saw it priced at DM50,- by a German game shop,
that's about US$24! What a deal!

If it's just released in the US and Germany (somehow I doubt that),
you could just order the German version. No need to order a German-English
dictionary with it, it'll be the US-version with German manual...but who
needs a manual?

Which shop was that? For that price even I might buy a NASCAR sim.

Are you 100% sure? Just a imagine a spotter with bavarian or saxonian
slang. But then there's always http://1st-blaze.euhost.com . :-)

Have not checked other shops. But the price is ok :)

The shop mentioned above has an indication about such things.
It says German manual and in the game English.

I'd like to help our other Euro friends who will have no other
option but to buy the American version and have it shipped over seas.
Since NASCAR was invented by Southern Americans, commonly referred to as
"Southerners", the translation could be a little hard. Here are a few
terms translated to standard English so Foreigners, commonly referred to
by Southerners as "Ferners" can look them up in a translation dictionary.

Phrase                                  Translation

"Had to shut'er down" - Had to shut her down. Turned off the engine
before something bad happened to the car
"Had a purdy good day" - Had a pretty good day. Took a car only capable
of finishing 25th or worse and finished in the
                           top ten.
"Got in the ambalance" - Got in the ambulance. A vehicle that takes
drivers involved in accidents to the Infield Care
                           Center
"I seen the #xx car spin" - I SAW the #xx car spin.

Anyone else with other suggestions?

As mentioned by Pascal, it's www.okaysoft.de. Before I order I have
to call my local Mediamarkt, as I hate nothing more than having a sim
on mail order and standing in front of it in the store....argh!

Yes, they wouldn't sell it for that price after spending money
translating
text and speech.

But we know which game versions we have to buy, don't we?

foh tars and add some bite.
Change all 4 tires and add wedge(crossweight)
"It's Just Air Jack"  Used whenever the Ford owners accuse you of
cheating by adding banned substances to the tire inflation or the tire
